FAQ
-
Can I preserve my flowers if I didn't book before event date?
Yes! We can preserve your flowers after the event date. Ideally, we like to receive the flowers within 1-3 days after to ensure the best results. If this isn’t possible, we can still work with your flowers. Pressing flowers may not be an option if they are fully wilted or dried, but we do have design options that will work! We can even work with your fully dried flowers. All this can be discussed during your design consultation.

When should I book my preservations?
We suggest booking in advance as we can book to capacity during wedding season. We understand life events can be overwhelming and time consuming. We can usually accommodate last minute requests, just reach out to us!

What is the difference between 3D Preserved and Pressed Flowers?
Dried Flowers/3D Preserved Flowers are preserved using several methods. These flowers keep their shape and are designed in a Shadow Box Frame. Our Shadow Box Frames include some Pressed Flowers as well. Pressed Flowers are dried and pressed in our flower presses. Most of the large flowers are disassembled to help keep their color and avoid moisture. The flowers are checked throughout the drying process to make sure they are drying ok and there is no mold. They are then re-assembled and designed in a frame, with your design choice.
-
I do not live by you, can you still preserve my flowers?
Absolutely! We book preservations nation wide. After booking your preservation, you will receive Shipping Instructions. You also have the option for drop off/pick up if you are local to NJ/NYC. Rest assured, your completed frame will be well protected when shipping to you!
-
How long is the entire process?
Generally, the process will take 2-4 months depending on the time of year and your flowers. Some flowers take longer to preserve than others. The goal is to get your art to you asap without effecting the integrity of the flowers and frame.
-
How long will the flowers in the frame last?
We are preserving your flowers so you can keep your flowers forever! Keep in mind, the flowers will fade over time. Try to keep out of direct sunlight.
-
Will the colors be exactly the same? Do you color enhance?
When preserving your flowers, there will always be some color changes. Especially with white and pink flowers. White flowers tend to brown and pink flowers tend to gray. Red flowers will darken. This is inevitable, even with experienced preservation techniques. We do offer color enhancement options where we try to match your original colors. This can be discussed in design consultation.

What is your return policy?
Because this is custom work and it’s a very time consuming and lengthy process, we do not offer refunds on the finished product. Rest assured, you will be able to approve your final design before completion. This way you know what you are getting and will love it! There is a 7 day return option for orders not past the Event Date.
